About this service
Can I enter? answers one question: whether a passport holder can enter a destination. It covers 199 passports and every destination, with the entry rules cited to official government sources.
Who runs it
Can I enter? is an independently operated data service. It is not a visa agency: it does not process applications, sell assistance, or take referral fees from visa processors. The product is the answer itself, free for travelers on this site and pay-per-request for businesses and AI agents via the x402 API.
What makes the data trustworthy
- Every curated entry rule carries a citation to an official government source: the authority's own page, with the date we retrieved it.
- Cited sources are re-checked daily by an automated pipeline; changed pages are re-read and rules updated or flagged. The methodology page describes exactly how.
- When official sources conflict, the destination is served with status needs_review. Uncertainty is shown, never guessed away.
- Every quality metric on the homepage is computed from the served dataset and published machine-readable at /transparency, with live verification activity at /changes.json and uptime at status.canienter.com.
Data practices
The service keeps no accounts and stores no personal profiles. IP addresses are used only as rate-limit counters with a 2-day expiry; the paid API uses per-request x402 payments with no registration. The optional human-verification step uses Cloudflare Turnstile. Questions about data handling: api@canienter.com.
Corrections
If an answer disagrees with what an official authority publishes, that is a bug. Write to api@canienter.com with the route and the official page; corrections ship in the next daily cycle.
